Contract Packaging
We package our own food storage products mostly in #10 cans but do other sizes of cans as well, 5 and 6 gallon buckets and Mylar bags. Our equipment has much more capacity to produce than we put them through. So, we offer our services as a contract packager to companies that don't want to incur the expense of the type of machinery we have.
Our can seamers are Canco model 8s, which are highly reliable with throughput up to 36 cans per minute. Two machines run #10 and one does 501 fiber cans.
We have auger fillers set up for filling cans or bottles.
Also available is a 0.5 oz to 32 oz liquid piston filler.
For bagging we have three machines of different size and capacity. For a
sample of our small bags see our show page. The larger
bags range in size from about 125mm (5") wide to 210mm (8") wide by 75mm (3")
high up to 400mm (16") high. Capacity ranges from a few grams up to 3 kilograms.
Depending on the application bags per minute range from 12 to 50.
We implement HACCP procedures to keep our processes safe and sanitary.
